Doug & Will
Cassada are a father and son team located
in the Western New York region.
Doug is an IS/IT
professional working a full time job
as a systems administrator for a large local company
in Webster, NY. Administering Windows NT 4.0,
Novell 4 server logins, accounts and file directories.
I am also being mentored in administering Unix
accounts within the domain.
I have also been a service
desk technician assisting customers over the phone.
I have supported Microsoft Windows 95, and
Windows 98 for Microsoft.
I have created and maintained local web pages and sites
for my employers internal web sites.
Both Will and I have created and maintain our own
internal network consisting of Unix Solaris 7, Windows 2000,
Linux Red Hat 6.2 and Windows 98 operating systems.
Will is a student at our local school system in Bergen, NY.
While attending
school in Portland, OR he worked with
the local school system administrators and learned the
administration of the local Windows and Novell servers.
He worked setting up and installing workstations within
the school system installing and configuring the systems
for student and faculty use.
Will is learning the
Unix and Linux environment through
working on systems on our own internal network systems.
Will graduates high
school year 2001 and is planning on
pursuing a further education in computer and electronic
sciences.
